The Moovment stands for mooving towards success.

For Foster Youth it’s mooving towards resilience and independence. It’s mooving beyond trauma and unfortunate circumstances through the discovery of self-empowerment and building self-esteem.

For our corporate and business partners, it’s truly tuning into your best selves so that you can show up in many other parts of your life as a contributing partner and success to your organization.

Mission Statement

Our purpose is two-fold. We have a strong background working with foster youth and wards of the court. We aim to empower youth and young adults to live healthy, inspired, philanthropic, virtuous, successful, and authentic lives. We also have the tools to empower employers and leadership to go beyond their goals.

How did Alex and Tramisha meet?

Alex and Tramisha met when they were working at the Orangewood Children’s Foundation in Santa Ana, CA as Peer Mentors to foster and probation youth. They facilitated Independent Living Programs (ILP) for youth ages 16 up to 21 years of age and built strong relationships with foster and probation youth and enjoyed giving back to their community.

What Programs does The Moovment offer?

We offer a variety of programs to help meet your needs and goals. We facilitate workshops, organize retreats, provide motivational and public speaking. We just want you to moov from the inside and out!
